Summer is always a time for FUN, but it is also a great time to maintain and enhance learning.  So why not combine fun with learning!  ASCA implements unique educational strategies in non-traditional outdoor environments.  Our strategoes are hands-on, interactive, and never feel like school. Our fun and engaging camps reinforce academic skills outside the classroom.  We can also pivot to provide lessons virtually when necessary.

ASCA values ethics and is in-line with conservation efforts across Texas. We partner with agencies like Texas Parks & Wildlife (TPWD) and Texas Wildlife Association (TWA) who are dedicated to developing and protecting healthy natural eco-systems and resources to benefit nature and people.  ASCA camps inspire young people to become future conservationsists, agricultural and environmental scientists, and stewards of nature.

Summer Camp 2025!

Summer camp applications have been reviewed and this year's attendees have been selected.  If you or your child applied for camp this year, please keep a lookout for an email updating you on your application and selection status.

This unique camp peaks cadets’ interest in agriculture, wildlife, animal husbandry and conservation through outdoor adventures! Against a backdrop of the great outdoors, campers enjoy a fun-filled, five-day camp that includes fishing, archery, hiking, and much more! Cadets receive meals, snacks, camp T-shirts, caps, backpacks, journals and camp supplies at no cost.

The Glenn Miller Conservation Camp is hosted by the Ag Science Conservation Association (ASCA), a 501c(3) organization. ASCA's purpose is “to increase diversity of underserved and underrepresented youth of all ethnicities in agriculture, science and conservation careers while simultaneously developing outdoor skills through hands-on interactive experiences led by professional and community role models.”
